Facts and Questions:

Can I have a phone consultation prior to my first visit?
Yes, we would be happy to conduct a brief telephone interview to determine whether or not you are a candidate for the program.
What if I live outside of the Houston area?
Treatment can only be provided following a face-to-face evaluation. It is often the best plan to have the patient stay overnight in the area. This way, Day One would include the evaluation and initial treatment, and Day Two would be follow up, training, and education on a home program. Careful follow-up may be scheduled through phone conversations or emails. This will facilitate recovery and minimize trips to Houston.
Can a therapist come to my home?
In some cases, home visits are the best option and can be arranged for an additional charge.
How long will the first visit take?
The first visit typically lasts 60 minutes.
How long are subsequent visits?
Follow up visits are 30-60 minutes.
What should I wear or bring?
You will be most comfortable in casual pants or shorts that allow easy movement. Bring copies of any pertinent medical records or test results you have, as well as a list of all your medications / supplements.
Will I feel sick afterward?
Some people feel tired or dizzy following the appointment, but these symptoms are temporary.
Should I have someone drive me?
It is always a good idea to have someone else drive you if you have dizziness or vertigo.
Should I take or discontinue certain medications prior to my visit?
If you are taking medications for vertigo, your doctor may want you to discontinue these prior to your evaluation.
